Rebounding Drills to Improve Positioning and Timing

Rebounding is critical for gaining possession in games. Begin with "Box-Out" drills to master positioning—perform 10 repetitions where you box out a teammate and jump for the rebound. For timing and vertical jump improvement, practice tip-in drills by jumping repeatedly to tip the ball off the backboard for 1 minute. Include "Partner Rebound Challenge," where a partner shoots, and you fight for the rebound 15 times. Dedicate 15–20 minutes to rebounding drills during each training session to become a more effective player under the rim.
